I am Paul_The ShofarMaker, I am a maker of shofars and located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I was just available when I first heard the shofar sound in Oct ’05 which stirred the spirit man in me. After which the acceleration / learning curve of learning how to blow the shofar & making my first shofar by 1st week of dec ’05 can only be attributed to The Holy Spirit guidance & anointing.
Brothers & sisters, I choose to believe that you all are also available & is saying “Here am I Lord, use me”.
The Shofar is mentioned over 80 times in the bible as either a ram's horn or trumpet. The ram's horn is most commonly used, second most commonly used horn is the Yemenite shofar taken from an African antelope called the Kudu.
The first time the shofar is mentioned is in Exodus 19:16-19 when the Israelites had gathered at Mt. Sinai. The “voice of the trumpet (shofar) sounded exceeding loud” and “waxed louder and louder”. According to the Torah in Exodus 20:18 the sound was so penetrating that the people could actually “see the sounds”!
